Fletcher-Callegari
The Fletcher-Callegari Scholarship was established in honor of the relationship between Big Brother Keith Fletcher and Little Brother Chris Callgari. The Fletcher-Callegari Scholarship is an $80,000 scholarship payable over the course of four years or completion of degree/program of study, whichever comes first. Scholarship funds may be used for tuition, fees, books, room and board and other educational expenses.

Stoic Student Scholarship
Stoic Real Estate Partners Foundation is proud to partner with Big Brothers Big Sisters Lone Star to help deserving students, within the DFW metroplex, maximize their potential. The Stoic Student Scholarship was established in 2024 for students determined to achieve personal, academic and professional goals despite all obstacles.

NOTE
Finalists for this scholarship will participate in an in-person interview. The recipient of this scholarship will then be invited to attend a special luncheon with Stoic Real Estate Partners.
Helen Hill Scholarship
Mary Helen Hill (1938-2021) was a kind and generous soul who lived life with joy and a wonderful sense of humor. She believed strongly in the mission of Big Brothers Big Sisters and was committed to mentoring others. Helen Hill was affiliated with BBBS for many years and served as a Big Sister twice. She was employed by Houston Endowment for 36 years and was a grant manager working primarily with the college scholarship program. Upon her retirement in 2004, Houston Endowment honored Helen Hill by establishing a scholarship in her name.

World Kinect Corporation is proud to partner with Big Brother Big Sisters Lone Star and the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) to support and recognize historically underrepresented students with scholarship awards. A leader in the global energy industry, World Kinect Services considers diversity and inclusion the cornerstone of their culture and a fundamental component of their success. The goal of this scholarship is to help aspiring Black and other underrepresented female students in their post-secondary endeavors and to achieve their personal, academic and professional goals.

Will Harris Scholarship
The Will Harris Scholarship was established in 2024 by Will Harris, a longtime Big Brother who created this scholarship to provide additional financial support to deserving students who plan to pursue higher education.
Will Harris is a resident of Spring, Texas, and a first-generation college graduate, who
currently works as a Director in the Equipment Finance Division for Wells Fargo Bank. The relationships that Will has made as a part of Big Brothers Big Sisters have made a lasting impact on his life, and he wishes to recognize students in the program with a strong sense of service to others, and a passion for giving back to their community.

Freeman Bullock Scholarship
The Freeman Bullock Scholarship was established in honor of Director and former President of Big Brothers Big Sisters Houston. Freeman Bullock (1926-2009) was a decorated Navy veteran and graduate of University of Texas Law School. He established his civil trial and appellate practice in Houston and served as former Associate Justice First Court of Appeals, former Director State Bar of Texas, and former Director Texas Trial Lawyers Association. Freeman Bullock was also the Director of Student Aid Foundation Enterprises where he served as Vice President for over 50 years. For his many years of service, that foundation honored him with a scholarship in his name, which helps a deserving student to attend college.

Bill and Reba Newton Scholarship
The Bill and Reba Newton Scholarship was established to encourage students to explore the fields of STEM and architecture. The scholarship was created by David to honor his former mentors Bill and Reba Newton. David was inspired to aim high and pursue a career in STEM by Bill, a retired architect. It is David’s hope that other students will also aim high and pursue their dreams.
