Are you a Community Based Big looking for some activities to do with your match? Below you'll find an ongoing list of activities available to you and your Little!


March

Event: Spring Break Special - Open Office Hours & Book Fair @BBBS Downtown

Description: The BBBS Office will be open from 11am-6pm on Wednesday 3/16/22 for our Matches and Families to stop by. We will have tables of FREE gently used (and some new) books available for folks to browse and take home. If you are a Big and want a place to hangout with your Little/Mentee but don't know where to go or what to do, come on by the office. We'll have board games and books and plenty of space for you and your Little. You can bring snacks, homework, your games, or bring a robot to build like David and his Big did last month, and we'll supply a place for you to hangout! Parents/Guardians can bring the family by the office to pick out free books to take home and keep.

Event: Little Snacks with Littles - A Cooking Demonstration

Description: This fun event is a cooking demonstration lead by a student leader (and Little Sister) in conjunction with a community-partnered agency. Your child will be able to enjoy learning and trying new snack recipes to see if they are Parent/Guardian and Big tested and Little approved! If you are unable to attend with your child, please let your Big know about this event!

Event: Code Ninjas Presents a Virtual College and Career Readiness Workshop and Job Fair for Ages 14-18

Description: The personnel at Code Ninjas Sugar Land will provide a virtual job and college readiness workshop for Littles/Mentees ages 14-18 years old who are interested in tech, coding, and software careers.

Date: Saturday, March 26, 2022

Time: 1pm-2pm

Location: You'll receive an email with the Zoom meeting link about a week in advance of this virtual event.

Event: Spring Field Day @BBBS Downtown

Description: Spring into the Spring season at our Big Brothers Big Sisters Field Day! We will have food, fun, games, and entertainment for Littles of all ages and all interests. If you are unable to attend with your child, please let your Big know about this event!
