Big Brothers Big Sisters’ 57th Annual Bright Realty Golf Classic Presented By American Airline Center, is a four-person scramble golf tournament to be held at The Lakes at Castle Hills on Monday, May 6th. All funds raised from the event will support the matches in Big Brothers Big Sisters' one-to-one mentoring program. Enjoy a fun-filled day to help all children reach their highest potential through the power of mentorship. We hope you will join us on the course in May!
Last year our 56th Annual Bright Realty Golf Classic raised over $180,000 thanks to sponsors and participants. All funds raised will make long-lasting impact on our community, local schools, families and children through Big Brothers Big Sisters. Our outcomes are clear:
- 97% are enrolled, enlisted, or employed following High School Graduation
- 96% maintain positive behavior at school and in their communities
- 92% report effective emotional regulation

Fun Fact: The First Golf Classic was held in 1967 and included Ben Hogan, Byron Nelson, Don January and Charles Coody.

In Honor of Chris Bright
Big Brothers Big Sisters Lone Star would like to honor Chris Bright for his fourteen years of service on the Big Brothers Big Sisters Lone Star Executive Board. During his tenure on the board, Mr. Bright served a vital role in supporting the children in our community. He believed in the power of our mission in changing young people’s lives through mentorship.
