Big Brothers Big Sisters’ 55th Annual Bright Realty Golf Classic is a four-person scramble golf tournament at The Lakes at Castle Hills on Monday, May 2nd. This is a fun-filled day to help all children reach their highest potential. Our volunteer mentors continue to defend the potential of every child we serve. All funds raised from this event directly support each child. We hope you will join us on the course in May! Together we give power to potential!
Last year, our Bright Realty Golf Classic raised over $180,000 thanks to sponsors and participants. These funds make long-lasting impact on our community, local schools, families and children. 98% of graduates are either enrolled in college, enlisted in military, or employed in their first year post high school, 94% of little report confidence they will achieve their goals despite adversity in life and 91% BBBS mentees graduate from high school.
Fun Fact: The First Golf Classic was held in 1967 and included Ben Hogan, Byron Nelson, Don January and Charles Coody.
